Abstrak

In a cultural historical inheritance that exists in the life of the Batak Toba community, there must be a history of how the custom came about. Such as the history of the Manulangi Tulang custom that exists in the Batak Toba community, specifically in the Humbang Hasundutan Regency, Doloksanggul District, which is still carried out and preserved to this day. The implementation of this Manulangi Tulang custom is due to several driving factors that can be seen in the life of the Batak community itself. So that with the emergence of a history of the Batak Toba culture, it gives rise to the implementation or procedures in this custom, where the implementation forms a historical inheritance containing values that are very important to be known by the Batak Toba community itself, especially the youth, where the youth must be able to know how the history of this Manulangi Tulang custom is because the youth are the next generation of customs that exist in a society, especially the Batak community.
