This study aims to examine the historical-cultural role of the local tradition Memiring Serbeb in maintaining interreligious harmony and peace in Mandumpang Village, Aceh Singkil Regency. The study employed a qualitative method with historical-cultural and phenomenological approaches to understand the meaning of the tradition within the social life of the community. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving traditional leaders, religious leaders, village officials, and local community members. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the Memiring Serbeb tradition contains cultural values such as mutual cooperation, tolerance, solidarity, togetherness, and respect for diversity. The tradition is carried out collectively without discrimination based on religion or social background, thereby strengthening social relationships within the community. In addition, the tradition functions as a medium of social communication and peaceful conflict resolution through deliberation and collective participation. The involvement of traditional leaders, religious leaders, and younger generations plays an important role in preserving the tradition. Therefore, the Memiring Serbeb tradition can be viewed as a form of local wisdom that contributes to strengthening religious moderation and social harmony in a multicultural society.
